Ivory Cake with Pink Bows

A few weeks ago I had the wonderful priveledge of making a dear friend's wedding cake ❤❤❤❤❤
She needed a 4 tiered cake, which was the largest I have made to date (over 16in tall!). She wanted round and hexagon layers to alternate (the round layers were red velvet flavored, and the hexagon were a strawberry flavor).
I accentuated the round layers with simple scroll work and soft blush pink gum paste ribbons and bows.
The hexagon layers were decorated with a quilted pattern and buttercream pearl details on the bottom and where the quilting pattern intersects.
This cake was made with the 6in round, 9in hexagon, 12in round, and 16in hexagon Wilton cake pans.

Congratulations to Brittiany and Brent! ❤❤❤ wishing you many years of happiness!
